Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how the Suited mobile application ("Suited", "App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information. Suited generates AI professional headshots you request. There is no separate login; your Apple subscription is your account.

1. Overview and scope
- Applies to the Suited iOS app and supporting services.

2. Face data highlights
- Collection: Face photos are provided by you and remain on your device for storage. We do not collect face geometry or biometric templates.
- Storage: Face photos are not stored in our databases.
- Use: Face photos are transmitted securely to our image processing provider only to generate your requested headshots, then returned; we do not retain those photos on our servers. Not for ads, analytics, training, or stored troubleshooting.
- Sharing: No advertisers or data brokers. We store only limited operational metadata (model reference, credits used, status, error codes), not face photos.
- Retention: Face photos stay on your device; we do not retain them server-side. Operational logs are short-lived (up to 30 days) and do not store photos.
3. Information we handle
3.1 Face photos you provide
- Content: Photos you choose that may contain faces.
- Not collected: No face geometry, embeddings, scans, or biometric identifiers.
- Storage: Stays on your device for storage. We do not store these photos in our databases.
- Use: Transmitted securely to our image processing provider only to generate requested images; returned to you; not retained server-side.
3.2 Generated images
- Delivered for your download/use.
- Stored on your device; we do not keep server copies. Delivery URLs are short-lived and not stored in our database.
3.3 Account and purchase identifiers
- Apple subscription identifiers and related product/transaction references.
- Stored in your device Keychain and in restricted backend storage for entitlements and credits. Apple processes payments; we do not receive card numbers.
3.4 Model selection and credit activity
- Selected model reference, credits deducted, generation status, error codes, timestamps.
- Stored in backend service tables used to operate the product and handle refunds.
3.5 Diagnostics and logs
- Timestamps/IDs, environment (sandbox/production), and error details for troubleshooting.
- Retention up to 30 days unless legally required longer. Face photos are not stored in logs.
4. How we use information
- Generate headshots you request (face photos stay on-device and are used only for this).
- Billing and credits: verify subscriptions, manage credits, process renewals via the App Store.
- Reliability/support: troubleshoot failures, detect abuse, improve stability.
- Legal/safety: enforce Terms and comply with legal obligations.
5. Face data handling (collection, storage, sharing, retention)
- Collection: Face photos are provided by you; no automatic capture; no biometrics.
- Storage: Not stored in our databases; you keep them on your device.
- Use: Transmitted securely to our image processing provider only to generate your requested image; not retained server-side; no ads/analytics/training.
- Sharing: Not shared with advertisers or data brokers. Limited operational metadata (not photos) is stored.
- Retention: Face photos remain on your device; we do not retain them. Generated images stay on-device; operational logs up to 30 days without storing photos.
6. Sharing and disclosure
- Service providers: Cloud infrastructure and managed databases for account and generation metadata (not face photos); payments handled by Apple.
- No ad/marketing sharing: We do not sell or share face data or generated images with advertisers or data brokers.
- Legal: We may disclose information if required by law and will notify when permitted.
7. Retention and deletion
- Face photos: On-device only; we do not receive or store them.
- Generated images: Only on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app.
- Account/credits/transactions: Kept while your account is active and as needed for support, fraud prevention, and legal obligations.
- Operational logs: Up to 30 days unless extended for security/legal reasons; no stored face photos.
8. Security
- Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
- Role-based, least-privilege access to production data.
- Auditability for credit/transaction changes.
- No plaintext storage of sensitive identifiers; payments handled by Apple.
9. Your rights
- Request access or correction to your information.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data (subject to legal retention).
- Stop using the app and delete local data at any time.
- Region-specific rights (EU/EEA, UK, California, etc.) available via the contact below.
10. Children's privacy
Suited is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn a child under 13 has provided information, we will delete it. Parents can contact us using the email below.
11. International data handling
Your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our providers operate. We use safeguards such as encryption in transit and contractual commitments with processors.
12. Changes to this policy
- We may update this policy as practices evolve.
- Material changes will be communicated in the app.
- Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
